Survey Monuments
The Georgetown-Scott County Planning Commission GIS department provides local survey control monument information to assist surveyors and engineering firms in meeting the requirements spelled out in the digital submittals ordinance, pertaining to all final development plans and subdivision plats.
If you are looking for control points in Scott County there are two resources available to assist you: locally established and maintained monuments and National Geodetic Survey (NGS) monuments.
