If you
have questions regarding floodplains in Scott County you can access several FEMA
(Federal Emergency Management Agency) websites below to research a property's
flood risk. FEMA is the agency of the US government tasked with Disaster
Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery Planning.
To
obtain a FEMA Issued Flood Map, aka FIRM Map (Flood Insurance Rate Map), you can
either stop by the Planning Commission office to look at our copies here in the
office or you can order one directly from FEMA on their website by clicking
here.

access a FEMA webpage that you can type in a specific address to obtain flood
