Salary Range

$39,000 – 44,558 with an excellent benefits package that includes paid medical for family

This position is responsible for staff support to the Planning Commission.  Duties include a variety of current and long-range planning projects.  Primary responsibilities include processing applications for subdivision, zoning, development plan review, and Board of Adjustment support.  Additional responsibilities will include updating of development codes, amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, small area plans, and etc.  The position reports directly to the Assistant Director with general oversight provided by the Planning Director.

The position requires a master’s degree in planning, public administration, geography or related field, and 2-3 years of experience in a current planning environment.  Must have excellent communication (written & verbal) and customer service skills.  Mail resume and cover letter to: Georgetown-Scott County Planning Commission, 230 E.
